Amman-Jordan: MENA Geothermal, a leading-edge company that specializes in the design and installation of geothermal heating and cooling systems in the Middle East and North Africa region, completed the installation of a geothermal heating and cooling system at one of the largest villas in Dabouq, Jordan.
Through Jordan GBC initiative “A visit and an Idea” this outstanding achievement in the field of renewable energy was recognized in the belief of Green Building Council to enhance communication, networking and exchange of ideas for the implementation of joint activities and projects with the company.
A presentation was given to Jordan GBC during their visit to site about the geothermal system installed in the villa, which is the first system of its kind that offers several integrated services through one system only. The system utilizes in this building a vertical closed loop installed at 100 meter deep. Five heat pumps distribute hot and chilled water to a fan coil distribution system in the winter plus 4-pipe AHU all year around.
